I don't mind the banter and debate between the Liverpool and United posters. It's a good laugh sometimes.

However, some threads do just descend into a slagging contest between everybody. I normally steer clear of these slagging matches because they are boring. The problem I can see is that a WUM starts something, somebody responds and it all kicks off.

Like I have said, I think we all enjoy the banter but it has gone too far lately. Let's just all back off for a bit.

There are some posters on here who are perfectly fine. Raaaul is a good poster, sensible and steers well clear of the morons, often correcting there ramblings in the process but they carry on regardless.

Been some really good threads ruined by Wums from many clubs though, there was a long one that suddenly went off the rails.

An important part of this forum is making sure that each teams board belongs to the fans of that team and if you look around the boards you will find each with differing rules.

Some boards are tighter than the BBC was, its how the fans of that team want it so thats fine.
Other boards are not far away from a free for all, again their fans choice so fine by me.

The point is that because this is Liverpools board its up to Liverpool fans to decide what they want, other teams fans may not agree but tough, they have the same powers on their boards.

The header says Comment,Create,Debate..freely but the freely is within your boundries.

Why do you try and act like people actually like you?

It is clear that 95% of people on our board think you are a complete ****.

For a WUM to work, someone needs to bite. Most people avoid the line, but some people get reeled in far to easily

Syd there are Liverpool fans on here who would have certain LFC forum members removed in the blink of an eye. If you read through some threads theres a number of posters who basically tell LFC members to grow up or stop posting rubbish.

All boards should be free for anyone to post, otherwise you end up with a debateless wasteland in which the opinion of the loudest idiots stand above all else. Sort of like RedandWhiteKop.

UIR - be true to yourself for once, rarely do you come on the Liverpool board to do anything but start an argument or escalate a current one. It would be alright if you were like KingEric or Swarbs and actually make decent posts mixed with a few fish hooks.

If you want to stay on this board, then I suggest you just calm it down a bit - you're on here all the time and it's always critical of Liverpool. That's mainly the reason there are so many Man Utd threads on here, because the Man Utd fans spend so much of their time here. I rarely ever go on the Man United board, so why should it be any different for other people with this board?

You obviously didn't even read what Syd wrote you fool. He said each board can be run however the fans from that board feel is appropriate. You are not a LFC fan so your voice counts for **** over here. Go and organise the slow running Utd board.

Anyway, I'm off. Bye UiR it's been emotional.

I compliment Liverpool many times. I have said on numerous occasions you have a bigger draw to genuine footballers than the likes of City and Chelsea. Your a club who besides United are the biggest in the land and many other things.

I come here to chat, however if some idiot posts a thread such as 'Man Utd would be nothing without Liverpool' hes going to get told. Simple as.

Or when threads and posts are slagging United off for complete bullshit rumours you are asking for United fans to come in a correct them.

Its a good board here, better than the Newcastle one and more active than the United one but there are some utter morons who make you all look bad. I dont know how many times I have to point out liverpool fans have also noticed this. I am sure you have aswell.

Like I said, there are some great debates on here, threads that would do well as a multi forum thread but we dont have them on here, so instead of starting identical threads on other boards it makes more sense to continue a discussion already in full swing.

Oh I did. I just pointed out why letting this board be run by some LFC members would be really bad for the board. Some LFC members already threatened to leave when KPR was made mod and if the board was to take the opinion of certain members as gospel I suspect usage would all but cease.

And in theory you are right, we should be free to visit any board and give an opinion, problem is that with that freedom comes responsibility.
If we just let everything go most boards would end up with poor posters, the ones who shout the loudest and swear the most will win. Good posters will leave, not run away through fear just walk away because they cant be bothered. Right now you and all Man U fans are welcome to come onto the Liverpool board and say your piece but you must stick to the Liverpool members rules. You may not like their rules but its their house so we either abide by the rules or dont visit.

And the mods, despite what you may think, are not fools, nobody would be banned from here because one or two Liverpool fans dont like them. However if, in the mods opinion, a significant number of Liverpool fans objected I'm sure I would be asked to press the ban button. That applies to all boards and so far the only person to be blamed for a ban is the person banned.

I dont like chatbox but I dont go and tell them that, I just dont go there.

As long as those rules allow for free and fair debate and not just praise of Liverpool things will be fine. Some members may want it to be just praise for liverpool but wheres the fun in that?

Nobody expects constant praise from the supporters of rival clubs but debate has to have something to make it interesting.
Real debate involves conceding good points made against you or coming up with a reasoned argument against them. Simple contradiction does not constitute debate. Constantly repeating a lie doesn't make it a truth.
Banter requires an element of wit otherwise it's just a slanging match.
There are plenty of non Liverpool posters on this board who are welcome because they fit the criteria, it's simply not true to say that anyone who disagrees with us is banned.
But anyone coming on here, criticising everything that our club does or says, lobbing a few expletives as they go, can hardly expect a love letter in return.
