In all seriousness she has done brilliantly over the last couple of years but she will never get a job in the league. Did any of you watch that documentary on sexism in football - I predict no woman will get a manager job in my lifetime. Also we have all this things with black men not getting a job in football but a black woman?
You don't see alot of black managers in the English game do you? Apart from Chris Powell and Chris Hughton
Paul Ince, Jean Tigana, Keith Alexander, Leroy Rosenior....there have been a few. But when you think of the percentage that makes up the average football squad, and the percentage of managers in the league at any one time, they don't tally.
The problem with racism in football is at times they make a big thing of it and it causes more problems. Clarke Carlisle was saying there should be a black players union. I think thats the worst thing they could do. They need to send the message out that there is no difference between skin colour, it doesnt matter what colour they are they shouldnt be discriminated because of it.
Exactly, people (minorities) often say how they want equality and acceptance, yet they shield themselves from the rest of society, it's the same with the gay community, they want to be equal to straight people yet they have their "special" parade, tbh I think they just want too much attention some times
Black managers dont struggle because of their skin, they have struggled because the individuals who have failed havent had the ability. The ones who do, like Chris Powell, will never be held back due to his colour. Ive never understood this debate. There is no problem at all.
They don't go into coaching. The percentage of black managers is exactly the same as the percentage of black players who take their coaching badges.
Thats the thing, they gone on how they are the same as everyone and want to be treated equal but then they want special things like this stupid rooney rule brought in
I know that. But why? Is it just that they are not interested? Or do they think they won't get the same opportunities as white managers?
You are always welcome to join in with these things, they're not exclusive. They're just a celebration of a specific culture. If you feel excluded by these things, it probably says more about you.
