I couldn't make the match and as it was in this cup, wasn't too bothered about it either. However what a win for Town. Fei Okenabirhie has surely knocked really loudly on the door to start or at least play a larger part in the following few games, as has Docherty with his goal and assists. Askey also mixed up the formation too.

This Saturday's game might be an interesting time.

whilst Tranmere did not field a strong team , nothing cant take away from the pleasant surprise , it was like watching a different team , we looked sharper across the park and we looked like we were going to score and this time we did.. as long as he is fully recovered from that horrendous tackle Okenabirhie give Askey a nice dilemma were does he play him..

they played 3/5/2 in the reserve game as well, i dont see Askey risking it on Saturday the defence and wing backs have to be really switched on ,in the opening minutes towns defence completely switched of and were fortunate not to concede a goal..

Kennedy , Docherty, Laurent Barnet all had good games Haynes and Emmanuel did well as wing backs
