Oh my what a result. Obliviously not in a good way. I don't think we have ever conceded two goals so quickly and Waterfall is the player at the centre of the blame for what happened, however we went on to concede two more goals. Alongside that we now have Waterfall and Goldorne injured, will this delay the move of Waterfall to Grimsby?

Ladapo and Vassell score against us which adds to the ex-players scoring table!

Glad I did not go from the sounds of it. It looks like midfield is our weak spot at the moment and we played a very inexperienced line-up last night. Clearly there were also some defensive howlers . Ricketts says we played a Championship side (perhaps he did not notice that Rotherham were relegated last season) but, given they are probably a strong League 1 outfit, for us to field such a weak team at this stage of the season and then to get thrashed at home is unlikely to do anyone any good, least of all our young players. Another issue is the fitness and injury-prone nature of some of the experienced players he has brought in, with Goldbourne going off injured again. No doubt Laurent and Norburn will improve things when they come back but we have three league games coming up in a week and we really need to step up on our performances so far. I dont know what Grant has done but we desperately need some midfield strength and experience and what a waste of wages it is to have a good player like him sidelined for disciplinary reasons.

Sadly we won't see grant again until he plays against us and causes us grief!
We were overridden in midfield last season and lacked goals, our defence is better this season however with Williams out we might struggle there too.
A strong striker and a midfield beast are needed.

3 minutes and this game was over , the defence and midfield were a shambeles. in 94 minutes of football all we created was one goal mouth clearence and one save.
our number 1 keeper was too blame and much as the defence for two of the goals, let us hope he cant be that bad again.
walker was the holding defender and looked like a rabbit in the headlights,
morrison and fejiri continue to not be on the same wave length
numerous route 1 balls were easily defended and promptly returned
in some ways ricketts cant win , he puts out 8 players to get some experience with virtually no resrve games ,were will these players get any game time.
