A very disappointing effort and we were probably fortunate to get a draw. Especially first half Grimsby were much quicker than us to everything and we could not get anything going upfront. I thought Grandison did reasonably well all game and Vernon played well second half (despite missing a one on one) until he was subbed. I hope Jayson is OK as it looked nasty - how the so-called experts could say that was a penalty for them is beyond me as they both touched the ball at the same time and the forward went into him looking for a penalty. Well it could have been a lot worse against a non-league side in red hot form but if we play like that again in the replay there is no guarantee we will get through. What annoys me most is that first half - it was a TV game and a chance to play a Championship side and we just didn't look up for it as their players repeatedly easily waltzed through our midfield.
Come on MM the faults in our team are very easy to see and we will not move up the table unless we learn to defend better.

Sounded awful, yet the commentary seemed fairly positive on radio Shropshire. Why aren't our midfield able to supply decent balls forward? Why when someone gets the ball near the opposition box are they too hesitant, take a second too long or a step too far and not shoot?

I did not see any positives watching on BT Sport. I also disagree with many on B and A about our best players on the night as Gerrard was mentioned as one of these. I thought he was awful and looked like a pub player, slow, repeatedly out of position and with poor distribution. Mind you Lawrence had the worst game I had ever seen from him and Ogogo was not much better. The strikers did not see much of the ball but Colllins and Kaikai were also poor. Brown did OK considering he was on a yellow card from the first minute - at least he looks up for the fight.
