Coventry visit Shrewsbury this Tuesday in a fixture that was moved due to the FA cup run. Thankfully we're looking to be in a better place than we were originally due to play them.

Coventry have had a dip in form recently, having lost 6 of their last 8 games, including Fleetwood and Rochdale. However they thrashed Bury 6-0 in amongst that.

Town have Grandison and Whitbread injured. NKP is one card off a one game ban. I'd assume MM will stick to a similar squad and formation to recent games. With the injured CBs we possibly see 4 at the back.

Let's hope for a cracking game where we start quickly and take the ball up field as much as possible.

A great game that was fast paced from the start. It was a tad worrying to concede so early, but Cole and Kaikai worked a fab equaliser. Blacks free kick led to Whalley getting the winning goal.

It really was an end to end game, both teams had loads of pace up front. Fortune did some good holding up for them and looked threatening, Joe Cole less so. Our forwards worked just as hard but I think the team weren't quite as clinical with their passes. Black had an immense game and although he got a yellow and wacked a few way over, he also put in a lot of classy tackles and passes. It's a shame Brown got knocked, we felt the worst as he collapsed after a lung busting run and we thought he'd hurt his hamstring but it turns out it was a nerve injury.

Well done to town and we will all be looking forward to Saturday's game, safely 8 points clear of the relagation zone.

The best game I have seen this season against what is a very good (in attack anyway) Coventry side. It could have gone either way but we outbattled them with our lads running themselves to a standstill. I have been very critical of MM this season but am happy to eat humble pie and give credit where it is due if we continue to put in the effort and teamwork we saw last night. Not job done quite yet but hopefully we are going upwards on a learning curve about this league and we can apply that next season.
