lots of huff and puff and just there, LND steps up :D

lots of our 'fancy stuff' with amad/roberts came to now with some woeful passing despite the build up looking good.

    ...and now onien makes it 2 :D :D :D

feel a bit sorry for the shrews mind, had a game plan that just about worked for them...anyway, thats it.

some nice play from the young lads but too many times we were looking to find that perfect pass...their keeper made some fine stops, obrien looked as lost as he did with us and sayeed basically tried to muscle his way around the pitch.

Great to see a team that goes for it until the final whistle!

I had the match on in the background today as busy with a few thing but sat down to watch the last 10 properly. Saw both goals, how did young Rigg look? And what's the record for our youngest ever player he can't be far off?

By far the better team, so much character in that team. Class finish by o9 at the end.

For a 15 yr old making his debut rigg was class, won tackles, passed forward and took on his opponent to win a corner that stewart scored from. Hope he see his future with us

Great result. Shrewsbury played well and made it hard for us. They were physical and dogged. The weather was horrendous and we struggled without a striker but we kept going and got the job done.

They will feel that they were unlucky, but only because of the timing.
