I think the whole thing's a load of old balls. Footballers swear all of the time: at officials, each other, to themsleves and to cameras. Whilst I detest Rooney I still feel that the ban is nonsense. There is a 4 second delay on all live matches so SKY could've cut away from Rooney shouting down the camera, like they do when players shout at officials and like they do when they put cameras on the fans! I appreciate Rooney is a role-model to young people but that is misguided. A man who has repeatedly used prostitutes should be condemned. Simple. At no point should parents/teachers say "Be like Rooney", they should say "Rooney is a prime example of a twat".
Rooneys ban was upheld so he misses the FA Cup semi final but United fans shouldn't care too much such since he's been complete ****e all season except for his hat trick last week. The reason Rooneys book took so long to get published was because it takes a lot longer to write a book in crayon. There will be lots of stories in the book. They never write their own books, they get journalists to do it and pop their name on them when hte book is finished. Somehow I can't see Rooney sitting down to a good old battered paperback. More likely he gets his missus to share his hary back.
