It IS Pin Stripes http://www.fulhamfc.com/home.aspx Oh forgot to mention Black Shorts http://shop.fulhamfc.com/retailmain.aspx For once Kappa are on the ball - looks really good.
Well, it's not great, but it's not the outrage some on here were anticipating. For all the fuss about the all-white kit last year - and I agree, white shirt, black shorts is what we belong in - I thought it actually looked pretty good, if not looking entirely Fulhamish. Someone described it on these pages as liking it aesthetically, but not spiritually, which sounded about right to me. This one doesn't offend my Fulham tradition sensibilities, but it also doesn't impress aesthetically. It's so-so. Maybe the whole black-and-white-stripes rumour was a ploy to get Andy Carroll to sign?
Out of the Kappa kits we've had so far i think this is my favourite one. Seeing the orange away kit I wasn’t too hopeful but have been pleasantly surprised by the new home kit. Definitely pleased to see the black shorts are back. Is it me or does the FxPro sponsorship seem much larger than last season?
I don't think they have been sidelined just moved. It looks like they are on the sides of the players. I for one like the look of it after seeing some of the other teams kits this season man utds look ****e.
Definitely better than I anticipated but it will still take me some time to come round to the idea of us playing in stripes.
Well the stripes are only on the front of the shirt it's plan white on the back obviously except for the number and names.
well, I really like it. The stripes are just a subtle touch to make it different from last year's and I'm sure we're all happy about the black shorts being back.
Having seem the new pinstripe on a manequin, I may now wait until seeing it on JAR in the flesh (so to speak) on 18th August before giving it the thumbs up - In fact, I might go for one of Bryan's own designer shirts (he's brought out his own brand) - http://www.bryanruizcr.com/eng/news/bryan-presented-his-brand-of-footballs-and-sports-clothes/ Quite like his logo - although I'm not sure what it signifies. Anybody any clues ?
I really like the new kit, actually. The best since the Euro season's, IMO. And I think the Ruiz logo is a reference to his goal celebration (there's a grey silhouette of Bryan with his arm in the air and index finger pointing to the sky).
The stripes have been done well- it's quite a nice looking shirt. I was quite happy with it initially. Then I noticed where the logo is and it's put me right off, it's quite unsettling, I'm struggling to understand it. I'll reserve my final judgement until I see it in the flesh- I'm hoping the players arms will generally hide it, but then I wouldn't be suprised if Kappa have some research knowledge behind the decision.
At least it's not the tacky ladies logo. EDIT: Oh I am a tool, I thought you meant the one on the... shoulder? The one high up the chest anyway.
I suspect you'll be disapponted, silkship - the logo if anything is more obvious. I wasn't going to post the Club's latest set of pictures from Leipzig because all they do is promote the new strip. However given your post, here they are - http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsArticles/2012/July/LeipzigPhotoSpecial.aspx What do you reckon ?
