He likes it so much he chooses not to attend games and runs scared from the media. They want their money back and their 'legacy' gets more tarnished by the day - something Allam senior will not want. They want to sell but know it has to be sold as a PL club, but each passing day sees their name blackened and their 'legacy' tarnished. Money versus prestige. Tough call for the family that loves both.
6.000 sold already so its pretty clear it isnt going to be scrapped. Could well be 10,000 season tickets sold before next season which they'll regard a resounding success.
How many of that 6000 are just covering themselves incase we get promoted? And will cancel if we don't?
Don't believe it - it's just another lie to divide support - convince people everyone else is signing up and you'll be left with no seat
Burnsy said Ehab has written an open letter trying to explain the scheme in today's programme. Anyone seen it and can give us the gist?
http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Ehab...-open-letter/story-29242534-detail/story.html Not seen the full thing, a few tidbits yanked from it by HDM. "In the fullness of time..." yadda yadda.
Nothing going to change from what he told us previously. Probably the biggest load of bollocks he has ever come out with. The man's a ****ing idiot imo.
http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Ehab...-open-letter/story-29242534-detail/story.html Ehab Allam defends membership scheme in open letter to Hull City supporters By Hull Daily Mail | Posted: May 07, 2016 By James mcMath please log in to view this image Ehab Allam, left, with father Assem Allam Comments (0) Hull City vice-chairman Ehab Allam has defended the club's plans to introduce a controversial membership scheme next season. The Tigers are planning to move to a monthly payment model - with no concessions - for the 2016-17 season. Some supporters would also be moved from their current seats and the proposal has been met with opposition from some supporters. Allam has written an open letter to fans, printed in the matchday programme ahead of City's final home game of the regular season against Rotherham United. In the letter Allam: Says 6,000 memberships have already been sold Confirms away fans will be seated in the West Stand Upper Calls for supporters to get behind the team Thanks fans for well wishes for his father, Assem, who is not well Related: Live coverage of City v Rotherham Allam wrote: "During the first phase of sales we have hit around 6,000, which is in line with last year's sales in a similar time frame. "This is a new and revolutionary approach and while I understand that a proportion of our fans are unhappy with the scheme, we feel that, given the fullness of time, both the supporters and club can benefit. "As previously stated, our membership scheme can make football more affordable for the vast majority of fans. "The potential closure of the West Stand upper is another issue that supporters have written to me about. "My intention is to trial away supporters in the West Stand upper next term in an effort to pack the lower bowl and create a stronger atmosphere and I will be working with the SMC (stadium management company) during the summer to try and deliver a safe environment for away supporters in that particular area of the ground." City will face Derby County later this month in the play-off semi-final as they look to make an immediate return to the Premier League. Allam said he wants supporters to show their support for Steve Bruce's side. He wrote: "I would call on supporters to unite behind the team in the coming weeks as we look to gain promotion back to the Premier League. "I would like to thank supporters for all the well wishes we have received for my father Assem, who is currently experiencing some ill health. The family really appreciate your kind words. "I Hope to see you all at Wembley."
TBH, couldn't give a flying **** what he says - there are no words in the English language that the **** could use to justify subsidising adult passes at the expense of children and pensioners.
Having supporters from TWS and others of their ilk throwing anything they can lay their hands on and pissing down on you. ****ing brilliant idea.
Thanks chaps. So the bottom line from Ehab is basically, I don't give a toss what you fans want, this stuff is happening, deal with it. ****er.
