Couple of thousand I'm lead to believe.

Corporates have their own 'scheme' as it were and is separate to the new 'membership' scheme.

The answer to your question could well include corporates if the club have simply stated 4500 have renewed...

If the club fail to tell any customer of a change to the amount payable by direct debit at least 14 days in advance, then the customer is entitled to ask their bank to claw the money back as the supplier (the club) has broken the direct debit rules. The club have no discretion over the rules, they are set by bankers.

    There's 2,000 corporate members.

I doubt they'd include them, they're not part of the membership scheme and if they'd only actually signed up 2,500 members I think they'd be looking to change it already.

Probably over 4,000 winners taken advantage then?
I haven't signed up. Can't believe this has happened after 53 years of following City.

If Holders are arrested or demonstrate anti social behaviour within the Stadium or in any other football match any where in the World, or if they are ejected from the Stadium, for any offence they will immediately surrender their Season Card on demand to a Club official or police officer. The Club reserves the right to suspend or withdraw Season Card benefits without notice or reimbursement if Holders are in breach of the Terms and Conditions set out herewith. No refund can be claimed by Holders for any unused matches.

The Club reserves the right to put on general sale any seats for cup and play-off games that are unclaimed by Holders by the notified date as specified by the Club through its Official Communication Channels. No refund can be claimed by the holder for any unclaimed cup and play-off Matches.

Supporters are advised to always carry proof of age on entry to the Stadium as a Holder of a discounted Season Ticket.

    MATCH DAY TICKETS

The following sections sets out the terms and conditions relating to Match Day Tickets which apply in addition to the Home Match Ticket terms and conditions noted above.

Nothing in these Conditions of Issue shall constitute or imply any entitlement to occupy the seat indicated on the Match DayTicket in any subsequent Match or season.

If more than one Match Day Ticket is issued to you, one Match Day Ticket must be retained by you for personal use (subject to the provisions below) and the remainder may be transferred to your Guest(s) for his/her personal use only PROVIDED THAT such transfer takes place in consideration of no payment or benefit in excess of the face value of the Match Day Ticket, and such transfer does not take place in the course of any business or for the purpose of facilitating any third party's business.

Such transfer to any Guest will be subject to the Terms & Conditions of Entry which will apply to the Guest as if he were the original purchaser of the Match Day Ticket (and you must inform the Guest of this).

You will provide the name and address of your Guest(s) when asked to do so by any official, steward or employee of the Club or any police officer.

In the event that you and/or your Guest are unable to use any Match Day Ticket then you may transfer that Match Day Ticket(s) to a natural person who is known to you personally who would be entitled (under the Terms & Conditions of Entry) to purchase such Match Day Ticket and attend such Match PROVIDED THAT such transfer takes place in consideration of no payment or benefit in excess of the face value of the Match Day Ticket, and such transfer does not take place in the course of any business or for the purpose of facilitating any third party's business.

Such transfer will be subject to the Terms & Conditions of Entry which will apply to the transferee as if he were the original purchaser of the Match Day Ticket (and you must inform the transferee of this). You will provide the name and address of the transferee when asked to do so by any official, steward or employee of the Club or any police officer.

In the event of the postponement of a Match (including the abandonment of a Match before kick-off), you will be entitled to receive a full refund or receive the equivalent ticket for the subsequent re-arranged Match via such application procedure as the Club stipulates. In the event that the Match is abandoned after kick-off you will be entitled to purchase a Match Day Ticket at a discount of up to 50% for the re-arranged fixture on production of the original Match Day Ticket. In all instances the Club will have no further liability whatsoever, including (but not limited to) any indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of enjoyment or travel costs. In order to obtain a refund, the Match Day Ticket must be returned to the Club's ticket office at least 48 hours before the commencement of the Match. A refund will only be issued on production of identification that the individual requesting the refund is the person to whom the Match Day Ticket was originally sold. For the avoidance of doubt, the final decision belongs to the Ticket Office Manager.

Discounted Match Day Tickets are available for children aged 10 & under and young persons aged 16 -22, these tickets must be purchased at least one day in advance of the Match.

    EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Club hereby excludes any liability for loss, injury or damage to persons/property in or around the Stadium.

    GOVERNING LAW

These Conditions of Issue shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

Sounds about right. 1 in 3 'winners' as it were. 2/3rds discontented. Well done City.

And I still think they're going to have major problems with matchday pricing but I'm sure they know what they're doing...

Now that they can be easily read, it seems fairly obvious that they're the terms and conditions for last seasons passes and they haven't even got the new terms and conditions for the membership scheme on there yet. <doh>

They're obviously not confirmed yet, but I know they were looking at £20, £25 and £30 for the various zones.

We (5 people) sit in Upper West, we and a great many round us haven't and as far as I can see don't intend to sign up. OLM is correct I think most Upper West are very unhappy.
There are also many concession fans, young and old in the stand so its double betrayal for them.

If they go for that & the £30 is in the halfway line zones then Membership would mean a saving of £4.42 a game in the PL. £84 in total with a few additional benefits.

If you missed three games a season it wouldn't be worth joining, you'd be out of pocket.

    I think they'll be a bit more.

It's another row brewing in the background.

The only foreseeable solution is promotion.

I think the whole thing has been put together based on being in the Premier League and if we don't get there, it will be changed.

Which is a good thing, as a load of temporary Premier League fans taking up the seats would merely have disguised the flaws with the scheme as it stands.

We sit in West Upper - we will save money by moving - but would rather stay where we are and pay the extra. We sit where we do because it gives a great view of both ends of the pitch. By the sounds of it we will be shoved in a corner somewhere or forced to move stand if we join the scheme as I suspect all the better seats in lower West will be taken up with corporates. Even if we go up and Upper west remains open we will be forced to move <steam>.
So if I want to continue watching City - and I do, and neither the Allam's or the Strawberry faced morons who came up with this back of a *** packet idea will stop me - I am backed into a corner - perhaps literally. Gutted that the club I love and have watched regularly since 1974 should treat me and my fellow supporters in this manner.
