Not sure I entirely agree with this. The season is just 38 games, we are already out of the league cup, no European football for us of course and the majority of our recent intake will probably not be troubled by International call ups. In these circumstances I would say it would be better to go for an established starting 11 rather than chop and change according to the opposition. I do think it likely we will see home and away tactics and teams however.

I am getting ready to be shot down here. Kenny Young Anton Traore Barton Faurlin SWP Taarbs PVM (international- cant be bad) DJ Bothroyd Everyone going for the same formation, thought i would try something new
I like Rangercol's home and away lineup. Maybe Derry will start V Newcastle due to his recent form, but Faurlin is who we should perservere with long term. Taraabt will leave if he doesn't get regular starts though. And i wouldn't want to imagine what Barton might do. From his interviews SWP was attracted by the chance to get regular football in order to reclaim and England spot. Can we really leave any of these three out? We haven't seen enough of DJ and Bothroyd to know their temprament accurately yet, but they've both definitely got a bit of an ego to them as well.

Be interested to see how Barton and Faurlin get on playing together - very different, but I think Barton might inject a some of steel into Ali which wouldn't be a bad thing Tarbs could be the biggest benefactor from Barton and SWP's arrival, because opposition defenders won't have the time to focus on him to the exclusion of others as I thought they did in the Bolton game. Once Dyer and Mackie are back match fit, we'll begin to look as if we have Premiership strength in depth - but as said above, CB worries me if we get injuries.
