Swords - you've given me a laugh alright. I'm cheered up but not convinced. I haven't laughed at such a pile of drivel for a long time. But yes I did see the game. I was there. I do agree with you we'd have won that had we had anybody other than Maiga or possibly Keane up front. But we need to get our better players fully match fit. Leicester I suspect will have been an easier fixture to do that than against Watford who still have summat to play for. Heaven help us if we're desperate enough to have to rely on SWP as a 'handy sub to run at a tired defence at Wembley'.

Which side were you on in the mother of all battles and who was in the original cast? The battle of Clontarf is not one which springs to mind from my days at school in History lessons. Or were you in the amphitheatre giving it the thumbs up or down?

As for Blair. let's leave that subject entirely before I burst a blood vessel.

Unfortunately, Yorkie, given our disastrous injury record over the season, the only way we can get our better players match fit for the Semis is by doing what Redknapp's doing, IE resting them as much as possible. Half of them are made of glass.

You wouldn't have come across Clontarf mate but every Irish school child is told how King Brian drove out the Viking invaders at that juncture. Which is a load of rubbish really. Still, 'twas a good excuse for a few shandies!

Blair? Well, we'd probably best leave that one ;)
