    No. It was a silly incident and he continues to make his unimpressive season worse but it was a racing incident. We want overtaking yet try to penalise drivers with grid penalties should they mess the overtake up (and it will happen) the drivers will soon become too cautious again to overtake

    seen the highlights on bbc and it does seem to be a racing incident
    seems webber paid for the incident anyway

    Racing incident. IIRC Webber was ahead going into the chicane, Massa got back in front for the second apex and Webber ran over the curb and out of room.

    The fact he retired does change it for me, and I don't think Liuzzi and Petrov should've got penalties either. Unless they make deliberate contact or drive excessively dangerously I think the DNF is punishment enough.
