34 votes / 87% for getting him in now looks pretty conclusive to me. Charlton on saturday would be a perfect game to introduce Boyd. imo.
Disagree. The quality of football in the last 5-7 games has been nowhere near the standard it was before that. I would presume that the losses of our two best players in Aluko & Elmo had a lot to do with this.
You bloody can't,you know. e.g Jack Hobbs is more than good enough, and he'd be a disaster up front/wing ect.
Richard Cawley ‏@RichCawleySLP #cpfc expecting George Boyd to sign for Hull. Will be loan + then perm deal in the summer.
Whilst i agree with you on Jack Hobbs you have missed the point entirely. I said IF your good enough you can play anywhere. Sadly there are not many that are these days even Messi.
No evidence either way. But i know that Wayne Rooney plays in goal during certain training sessions and is not bad at all by all accounts. If thats the case then we have at least one who can play anywhere.
Something in the daily express about it. But no need for a new thread, surely ?? www.express.co.uk/sport/football or www.express.co.uk/sport/football/377085/Peterborough-s-George-Boyd-in-limbo-over-Hull
Thank you Mr. Tickles. Your hard work on this forum does not go unnoticed, and it is highly appreciated!
Yes, but we haven't actually signed him have we? I'm not sure we will before Saturday, but seeing as how he's out of contract at the end of the season, a loan and a permanent at the end makes a lot of sense.
