I'm with you Erik seen nothing to make me feel like they're worth a contract! We don't need more players without the nowse to stick the ball in the net.

Mr Tickler, if we get promoted. Would you still want both?

I've said both, but having seen him play up front in the past I rate King more highly than I rate Brady within the current team. If there's someone upfront who can win the ball in the air (which is what I'm signing King to do) then Brady woulld be worth more than he is at the moment.

I find it funny that more rate king than Brady as IMO there's no competition, Brady has far more about his game. Technical ability for a start, all king really has is pure power and pace, Bady offers those too albeit in smaller amounts.

I'd agree with that but Brady had a poor patch over Christmas and it became cool to have a go at him for a while. I'd say these two have been our best attacking players over the last month or so. They're the only ones who've shown any real ability to create chances, or score them for that matter.

I actually don't think Brady's form changed much over Xmas. It was more a case of because the team wasn't scoring people suddenly realised he wasn't contributing to many goals*. That realisation combined with King becoming better as the rest of the team have gone down the kharzi has made opinions of him improve dramatically relative to Brady.

*If you remember my complaint with Brady previously was he had the talent and we weren't making the most of him because of the tactics/players available to play alongside him.

It does still surprise me that City fans are so much in favour of King though. I've seen nothing while he's been playing for us to say he's a better player than Brady, it's all been games elsewhere in a different position.

They're different types of players. Brady is obviously more tricky and whilst the rest of his game is decent, the thing you get from him most is the specialised wing play (beating his man and crossing). King has the pace and power route but I think he showed against Southampton that he can also strike a ball pretty nicely. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say he could have had a hat-trick with a bit more luck. He hit the bar once and forced two great saves all from very well hit volleys. I'd like to see him get a few more shots like that.
