Well reasoned, and on the premise that Dempsey came in I'd agree with you that Benny isn't needed :) Especially with Oxo, Ryo, Gervinho, and Theo (all the O's!!) in for the wings as well.

I didn't comment on your players in as I agreed with them. However, having 3 LB's and 3RB's is probably a tad excessive. Santos won't be offloaded after one season, Gibbs is finally starting to show promise, and Jenkinson is Arsenal through and through, and will be much improved next season. As such I can't see ANY fullbacks coming in during this window.

Diaby is the constant enigma isn't he? I'd rather unleash him (I like the idea of a game being tied at 60mins, and Wenger turning to Steve Bould, who is ready with a cattle prod, and stating "unleash Diaby"), but I think getting rid might be the better option.

Bonstar - I love Diaby. Being a lanky tw*t myself I have soft spots for people who look like ironing boards trying to fold up when they run! He's got the ability but at some point even I've got to be realistic. He definitely offers something to a team when healthy, but again do we want to gamble yet again? I honestly don't know. Ah f*ck it, let's keep him another year. Yay Diaby.

LBs is an issue for me. I like Gibbs to an extent and he's proved me wrong with how well he's played when fit this season. That's the key with him, fitness. He's always crocked. Santos I like as a character but positionally he's hopeless. Football is about tough decisions and in this instance I'd be willing to sacrifice one of them for Baines. A back 4 of Baines, Vermaelen, Kos/Mert and Sagna with M'Vila in front of them would be far more secure. Again, it's all just opinions!

RB... I know loads love Jenks but I don't think he's anywhere near ready yet. I don't buy the Arsenal through and through bit. I am too but I'd put myself on the pitch - I'd want us to win! If he's such a Arsenal fan he should be willing to wait for his chance. Bosingwa has only a few years left at the top anyway which would be ideal for Jenkinson - imo.

Jenkinson is already better than Bosingwa. Bosingwa is utterly pants.

Based on all (9?) games he's played at this level? Because he was dire in some of those. Really really dire. I think he's got potential, I just think he was dropped in the deep end (through no fault of his own) too soon. Bosingwa is an experienced player who could be picked up for free. I'd not start him, but I'd rather have him as backup.

Ok, so are we just signing Chelsea rejects then? Benayoun, Bosingwa etc.

As long as we don't sign Kalou or malouda, i'm happy.
