Match Day Thread Should we set up a schedule?

Think it improves these if we have a variety of posters doing them. It gives you an insight into the characters of the different posters and also provides a focal point who can keep the thread moving. There should be no set format but they should generally contain the following (as long as you are not called ACS)
1. Date
2. Time
3. Opposition
4. Location
5. Some comments on the teams form
6. Some comments on who might play
7. A dig at the last match day thread
8. Some form of insult to Nev
9. A reference to the fat bastard and his cartoon-like sidekick
10. Praise to our Manager but a subtle dig at his tactics in the last game
11. A pop at the referee for being involved in a game we lost 10years ago on a dubious decision or having a distant relative who lives in same city as the team we are playing.

If you prefer the ACS abbreviated format a . will do

I have set up a poll. Everybody who votes will be expected to do a thread if the poll results show the idea is a good one and they have indicated they want to. The Supreme Moderator Council will convene to determine the schedule.

When does the season start and what division are we in?

 

I was gonna have a stab at this weekends one once the ref is announced. You've missed that off ya list by the way, it's customary to have a pop at the ****er with the whistle in my opinion as well as providing a bit of info about said official's current form this season, a bit pointless at this early stage like

Every match thread needs to have a picture of the sky Sports purple dildo on instead of the club crest. Come on lads... all hail the dildo...

 

If the dildo option wins and folk put up a pic of the ssn purple dildo on each match thread I’ll stay away from them. Think of it as garlic to keep away the **** thread acs vampire....
