So what if the English invented football? It is a sport played around the world. We may have a very good Premier League but our national team is rubbish. The comments don't exactly help our damaged reputation and a German executive-committee member wants the British to lose our vice-presidency at FIFA which is considered as a 'privilege.' I also don't like his comments about there being no alcohol at the Qatar World Cup. So what? We should respect their way of life in their country and get on with it. He has only managed to make the British look arrogant and stupid. I'm just glad he fell into a pool!
