No. He deserves another year at least as he should he could do it when needed last year

 

every game best plays he gets better hes still only young 24 i think. he was our main striker until he got injured (after carrol left of course). i dont think its worth cashing in on him at all its not like we need to money and its not like we are overcrowded in the striker department if ba arrives and another decent striker i think it woul d be between him and ranger who would leave or get sold, obviously shola is going to be here no matter what!

his stocks arnt that high anyway hes only got a few months prem experience.

 

Selling Best for the sake of £3m would be crazy. He did enough last season to show he's well worthy of his place in the squad.

i was thinking with my ashley hat on when i made this thread yesterday. Low and behold they're gonna try and offload him according to the journo this morning.

maybe i should write a thread about whether its time to cash in on Perch...

on a serious note i reckon we could end up with 3 new strikers when its all said and done.

 

I reckon Cabaye's value will shoot up soon so he'll be on the list for January along with Tiote.....

according to the journal hes up for sale :/ stupid really, hes still quite young and far better then lover or shola! says 4 mil on there! also says were talking to PSG about that erdinc and even if we do get him and ba we'll still want another striker

This! What a stupid idea! Best is OUR Best striker. Ameobi/Lovenkrands should be the ones going! If this happens I will also have to change my avatar!

 

Come on the lads terrible! Wastes too many chances, offside too much! What's the point in selling Lovenkrands and Ameobi when we'd get **** all for them? they'll be sat on the bench or in the reserves until their contracts run out as cover for whoever comes in. He scored was it 6 in 10/11, take away the hat-trick against the worst team we played against last season and that's not overly impressive! With Erdinc and Ba coming in hopefully he's not getting first team football. Better bring in a younger striker with a good record and let him slowly get in to the first team with a few appearances and sub appearances. Wickham £12m, Erdinc £7m, Ba Free....£19m take away the £9m we'd get from sales for nolan, best and ranger then i know who i'd have

Also just a thought...maybe he want's to go? If Pardew couldn't offer him first team football he probably doesn't want to stay on the bench for another season after scoring 6 goals....or maybe that's what Ashley and Pardew want us to think!

 

They are not going to get rid of these players without replacing them, all very well saying we need strength in depth but we can only have 25 players in the squad. If they're selling Best then they're probably buying a better player who plays a similar role (Ba). If they were selling Ameobi then they'd buy a better striker who can hold the ball up. Wasn't that long ago (before Best scored his hat-trick) people were saying he was **** and why did we buy him and now all of a sudden he's our best striker. Fickle lads, very fickle.
