We weren't owt special, i admit. And we weren't much cop at home, but we were good on the road.

After seeing us lose nearly every week int he prem it was refreshing just to us beat someone again.

We didn't play particularly well against Derby, but we got the job done.

We where playing a team that had a great home record and we silenced Pride Park. I think that the Derby matched showed just how strong we are at stopping the other team playing. Not a great match but a very good win.

All personal opinions but I think the perpetually dour football with no excitement claim is a load of ****e. Yes there were some very dull games but we also played some exceptional stuff. West Ham at home springs to mind.

We had the best away run ever with dour old Nigel, I always think more recent managers get most of the bashings especially from younger fans, when you can remember all the much worse managers we have had it puts things in perspective

Nigel Pearson = one of the best managers we have had.

I feel sure IF he had stayed we would have gone up last season..

Steve Bruce has every chance of becoming Thee BEST manager we have ever had !

He's already been back, last season, and we won.

Will this thread appear every time we play Leicester or a team he is in charge of?

    Move on.

His style of football management was ****e - it is not him we should applaud but the Leicester hierarchy who tempted him away and did us all such a huge ****ing favour! Move on and turn him over on the green stuff!

i never applauded him while he was here, so i arent going to start now, hated him from start to finish and made no secret of it, maybe it makes me childish but so be it, at least ill be a happy childish chappy booing and singing till my throat is sore.

what annoys me is all the pompous lot who act all moral and sensible and "mature" and keep saying how he left for more money for his family etc and how we should respect that and leave him alone etc..
if i got offered more money to work for a rival company id take it, of course but id fully expect banter and abuse from ex colleagues and customers about it, its just part of life...why should football be any different?
half the people booing wont be booing him for that anyway , theyl just be the ones who disliked him as much as me but darent say when he was here for fear of being an outcast..
football is a passion and sod maturity, if you think the guys a **** let him know! hes still minted so wont effect his life too much, but will make you feel better for a few sweet seconds at least ;)

What I don't get is why some people never liked NP ever !

The longest unbeaten away from home run in the Clubs history says he must have been a decent manager...

We have had some **** managers in my time of watching city and NP wasn't one of them.

Of course I am pleased we have Steve Bruce and would not swap him for Any of our x managers

me personally , the reasons are i always got the impressionn he never really wanted to be here, people say hes naturally dull etc, whenever i see him talking on tele about leicester he doesnt seem that bad- a bit dry etc still but here he just always came across as a guy who was here reluctantly, thought his attitude to the likes of burnsy was awful- i know its fashionable to dislike burnsy but at times he asked fair reasonable questions and was talked too like a piece of **** on the bottom of his shoe..
i found the football awful, there where good entertaning games but they where few and far between imo, the amount of games we had with zero or 1 shot on target was unbelievable, got to a point where i thought i was imagining it so started timing the time of the 1st save there keepr made and it never happened for ninety minutes- quite often...(.to be fair tho after a bright start barmbys football soon fell into this as well) ..i was often close to tears at some matches and im a grown man who doesnt cry easily..
bruce is like a breath of fresh air compared to him, plays good football with serious intent to cause damage, and he calls a spade a spade without being a total dick to who hes talking too.

Yup I wouldn't swap Steve Bruce for Terry Neill , my fav manager from the past..

Funny how everything turned out right after losing NP and NB ..

Great days for Hull City for sure after some of the real bad times ..

Doesn't seem that long ago local Scarborough fans where taking the piss out of me for supporting Hull City who they reckoned where going out of div 4 while they would survive..

From the worst team in Yorkshire to the BEST.

Have a fab Christmas everyone and with a bit of luck we could win our next 2 games ..

    Brilliant !!!

Pearson arrived at the KC with the sob-story of how Leicester had shat on him after all of his loyalty to them. Hull City gave him everything it was capable of giving (including loyalty), then at the first chance he skulded back to them.
Did he explain the reasons to our supporters and thank us for our loyalty to him? No. The whole thing was shabby and deviously done and that was when he showed his true colours which most of us didn't like.

To hell with him now. He's struggling to measure up to the bookies 'favourite' tag with all the money he could wish for and that suggests he wouldn't be successful in the EPL. We have done well to get rid of him and even better to get a proper manager who is several classes above him.

Probably because you don't know football - the results spoke for themselves, the football was worst than ****e! Boring, arrogant pillock

Pearson made supporting Hull City a truly ****ing miserable experience, It wasn't just his dour football, it was his arrogant, dickheadish personality that just made it absolutely impossible for me to want him to succeed at anything, even winning with MY club.

This "we would have been relegated" thing is absolute bollocks too. It's as if people basically make up stuff to try and justify the continued employment of this ****. We were never in danger of getting relegated again, ever.

Added to the fact that he told us in his first interview that he didn't want to be here, and made his contempt for us abundantly clear from then on. Yet people STILL continued to lap up his bullshit. Why it's all of a sudden become cool to pretend he did a good job here is beyond me.

The fact that Pearson isn't one of the most reviled City mangers of all time just makes City fans look like spoon fed morons to be honest.

How anyone can say Pearson would of got us to the play offs, there are no stats to back that up. His points per game ratio would of left us in the same position as we finished, or maybe one higher but not in the play offs, there was even a thread on it. So that is absolutely bollocks.

He managed to turn us into a tough side to beat, and a good defensive side, but he couldn't find the flair to get us up the league. Bruce hasn't spent fortunes on finding it, very little in fact, bar Prossy he's spent nothing really. So to say NP had a tough ride compared to SB is completely wrong. Luckily Bruce is in a different league to NP in terms of signings, tactically we will see on Boxing day.

Its sports. I want to hold on to my grudge. I will let it go when he either leaves leicester or he is fired.
