My version of the list, not a great many differences though.

    Asmir Begovic- Stay.
Danny Higginbotham- Stay, until we get another LB. Good cover to have, and still has some pace for his age.
Robert Huth- Stay, but as northernstokie says, at CB
    Glenn Whelan- Stay
Tom Soares- Probably go, but has looked pretty decent when I've seen him.
    Kenwyne Jones- Stay
Ricardo Fuller- Go, been great in the past, but I feel his time is up now.
Mamady Sidibe- Go, as with Ric, I think we've come too far to keep hold of them, and for what they done for, I think they deserve game time for another team, not confined to our reserves.
    Marc Wilson -Stay
Salif Diao- Stay on in some role, as has been mentioned before. His next contract should be as STAFF not a PLAYER.
Jermaine Pennant -Stay and should play most games
    Ryan Shawcross -Stay
Dean Whitehead- Stay but should be squad player not starting
Jonathan Walters -Stay, good enough to start, but shouldn't keep getting run into the ground like he has this season.
Matthew Upson- Undecided. Liked what I've seen, but I think either him or Woodgate will go.
Andrew Davies (on loan to Bradford) Go, don't think I've ever seen him play, very rarely even heard him mentioned.
Michael Tonge (on loan to Barnsley ) Go, looks a good championship player.
Rory Delap- Stay, good guy to have on the bench.
Peter Crouch -Stay but needs better service
    Matthew Etherington -Stay
Carlo Nash -Need three keepers so stay
Andy Wilkinson- Stay, but Shotton is my preferred RB in recent times.
    Thomas Sorensen -Stay
    Ryan Shotton-Stay
Diego Arismendi (on loan to Huddsfd ) Go, unless, as northernstokie says, he gets a decent crack of the whip
Cameron Jerome-Stay, done well. Should play more
Matthew Lund (on loan to Brist R ) No view not seen him play
Florent Cuvelier (on loan to Walsall ) No view not see him play
Jonathan Woodgate- Had a few bad games at RB, but as with Upson, done alright, decent cover, but one of the two should go.
Wilson Palacios -Stay, needs to improve fitness.
Michael Clarkson No view not see him play
Louis Moult (on loan to Alfrtn ) Stay
Lucas Dawson No view not see him play

I don't think Mancini is at fault over the Tevez saga, I think everyone agress saying Tevez shouldn't play again was the right thing to do, and I don't think he has much choice about him coming back, I think he's been forced into it by the owners, casue if they don't play him, they can't sell him.

Mancini also seemed to be doing a good job with Balotelli, he calmed him down and had him paying well, but somewhere along the line somethings gone wrong, because he's a total dickhead again!

  3. Will get accurate data and post it as I was amazed what each club gets. Also took me aback that relegated clubs get 3 years of parchute payments.

Will hopefully get this posted some time tomorrow.

I tend to agree with your comments.
I'm under the impression, rightly or wrongly, that Pulis is quite a sentimental type of person and maybe this results in him hanging on to players that are either past their best or not quite up to Premier League standard. I realise that along with many other factors there's some degree of balance involved i.e. having squad players (as of the current standard) vis-a-vis the cost of keeping those players vis-a-vis the cost of buying and paying players of a higher quality. I also realise that success brings income, so there are alot of maths plus many other things for the club to consider.
It would be good to think, as others have mentioned, that he will give the likes of Arismendi, Cuvelier, Moult and/or Lund a chance in the first team. He'll (Pulis) will never know unless he gives them the opportunity to show whether they are up to standard or not. Other clubs in the PL give their younger players this opportunity, by comparison Pulis seems to prefer to wait until they're in their early twenties before exposing them to this level of football.

I think that may be due to lack of experience, and can be sorted out. We've played Shawcross from the age of 19, and given Shotton a fair chance, and they've come good, Moult and Marshall have apparently been "almost ready" and shown promise, but as we know not worked out, and we've signed a few youths (Arismendi Cuvelier etc). Pulis needs more confidence in the youth players, or maybe different personnel in youth development that will keep on at him(TP) till he gives a few of them a better chance.
