    Makes sense to me, perfectly.

There's people in the world that are prepared to go to extreme lengths, these two may not be any different from those people.

The idea of that being the truth is horrific.

If that acting was in a film it would go straight to DVD imo ......... I truly hope I'm wrong but there's something really wrong with all this.

As has been said, no mother would see a child 'taken' and leave even smaller ones to the mercy of someone who might have been on the patio.

It's a mother's natural reaction to protect the litter.

It's awful mate, every time I see them I can't help but cringe.

I'm as near certain it was them as possible, there's just far too much evidence stacked against them. The dogs, the inconsistencies in their statements, the missing bag, the crap acting, it's all just far too much for me to think they had no part to play in what is of course the death of their child, not an abduction.

There's no chance they'd have ditched a dead body yards from the apartment, the traces in the car suggest that Gerry's ****ed off somewhere with a dead kid in his bag and ditched the body somewhere far away. In my opinion the only way we'll find out is when one of them owns up.

I can't give as much gravity to any other plausible scenario due to how many times they've put their foot in it.

As some on here have already said, they need to be charged with a minimum of neglect, even if they dont do any time for it (losing a child is punishment enough), as leaving a child (children) alone in an apartment while out at a restaurant in ****ing stupid - I knew that even before I was a parent myself

I seriously believe the police are up to summat.

There's no way the stuff they've been saying is credible.

"The girl woke up and starting screaming during a burglary."

Yes of course, grabbing a screaming child to carry down a crowded street is the ideal getaway ploy for your average petty thief <doh>

"We have a suspect and we'll be knocking on his door very soon."

But we'll count to 1000 to give him a fair chance to get away and hide <doh>

"We've completely ruled the McCanns out of the enquiry."

The police never do that in a case where there's no body or actual suspect.

I think they're ambushing the parents mesel.

I'm basing all of this on supposition and guesswork which appears to put me on level pegging with Scotland Yard's finest.

I have learnt first hand the incompetence that runs through this country over the last 5 years in every department of the civil service, NHS, Police and anyone else that goes to work and contributes absolutely **** all to anything. However, I am with you on this..
