    Indeed.

Hopefully that's the end of the saga.

His position has become completely untenable. Win win. TenHag won’t be shedding any tears and hopefully wages will be saved for a new striker.

We should close this thread before Treble accuses of going OTT. lol

I look forward to the team coming back with better focus and no internal distractions.

Yep. He’s gone. No point wasting time, breath, ink on him. Let’s look forward to getting a top striker willing to give 100% to the team.

I'm sure you lot will wring it out for another 5 pages <laugh>

It's a logical conclusion and the only outcome. Nothing more nothing less.

Maybe we can all focus on the football instead of the soap opera? Just a thought like.

What's happened does not erase the fact he was our top scorer and best player by a mile last season and was not the reason Ole was sacked, regardless of how that situation was spun.

What's happened this season is a man unable to accept his own decline, and tried to blame everyone else for that.

I'm now glad he's gone, but this doesn't tarnish anything.

The vast majority of what he said was right, it's the 20% of utter bollocks that meant he had to go.

He's never a legend anyway, just a very good ex player amongst many.

The club’s strategy post Ferguson (if indeed it had a coherent one) was deeply flawed. We went for any “top” “star” player as soon as one was available. Too many to mention: Di Maria, Sanchez, Falcao, Pogba, Ronaldo just a few. Without any thought on how they will fit into the team. Anyway it looks we now have some sort of coherence with this manager and Ronaldo even before his **** storm clearly didn’t fit into Ten Hag’s plans.

Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, is torn between moving to Newcastle United or Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr after leaving Manchester United by mutual consent. (Marca - in Spanish)

    <laugh>

Those two well know Champions League clubs.

To think that Newcastle is even considered is beyond me. The irony of the foolishness! Manchester United is a mess, so I’ll go off to xxxxx. You can fill that blank with any other club in the world and everything that he has complained about will persist.

1/ He won’t he be an automatic pick for any half decent club in Europe.
2/ He will be downgrading if he moves outside of Europe.

The logic doesn’t make sense as it never made sense with that clown Pogba thinking that leaving would solve his ego problems.

    Now dropped by Portugal.

But, everyone's else fault, **** all to do with the fact that he's not player he was or thinks he still is.

Making a twat of himself in the process, only adds strength to Ten Hag.

We have to commend Ten Hag with how he’s handled Ronaldo since he joined us. This version of Ronaldo is certainly not the legend that left us for Madrid.
