I thought savage was harsh on the strikers but was praising us overall and thought we were fantastic. Thought both Owen and savage were better than the usual suspects
He also scored 2 goals against Ipswich, which I believe without, we owuldn't have gone up. On the Aluko thing, he's human, he'll miss stuff from time to time
Aluko will score goals, dont write him off after one miss. He will do okay in this league when he gets firing. But maybe we still do need another striker what with Matty, Prozzy and Mclean out of Brucies plans.
I cocked that up, it was the U21 loans we found out were not allowed outside the two loan spots, foreign loans aren't considered loans, so can be done.
I think Bruce may have a european mystery card. Rodallega / Bendtner could very well be a smokescreen.
I'd go to Blackburn and say, here's Fryatt, here's McLean, keep Cairney, and here's 5 million for Rhodes.
I would. If the McCarthy to Everton goes through, don't be surprised if Rhodes is a Wigan player by midnight.
Why would they want McLean, or Fryatt, when they could keep Rhodes? Chicken farming is a wealth business, do they need 5 million quid? That's like someone offering us a couple of mediocre players plus a couple of mill for Thudd, we wouldnt take it.
I'd go with that. But as Kudos said, I think he'll go to Wigan. Surprised QPR aren't after him, by their standards they're still 6 strikers short.
They could have 3 good Championship players and 5 million, it's worth a try and see what they come back with.
They'd also get the burden of 3 big salaries that they don't want to pay for two players they don't need and one they already have on loan. Can't see it happening. They would probably rather just have the £5m and not the burden of McLean and Fryatt.
I can't see it, especially as Forest are one of the primary chasers of Fryatt. I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to join Leicester, but I'd have thought Forest could offer him more money.
Sky Sports News ‏@SkySportsNews 6m Sky Sources understand that West Brom have given Cardiff permission to speak to Peter Odemwingie: #SkyDeadlineDay You're missing out big time here.
True, but West Brom have given everyone permission to talk to Odemwingie. They want rid and don't care who gets him as long as he goes. Personally I think he could do it for us, but, from the current rumour mill, we don't seem to be interested.
