Should Steve Bruce stay?

Agree, Steve Bruce is a big pull and really helps us to attract top quality players over other managers like Gary Monk at Swansea.

 

Bruce was also responsible for bringing Taylor in as a well proven utility player, the guy has taken a lot of stick when his game time has been very limited, but he had a good game against a decent Leicester side - we have Snodgrass and Diomande to come back too, so the season of Steve Bruce might yet be a very exciting one.

 

Even though it isn't mentioned on here specifically, does Sterling still think Jak should be playing over Greggsy?

I've conceded that SB maybe isn't the tactical genius we'd all like him to be! And if he was he would most probably me managing some other team? But you cannot deny the fact he attracts good players? Would monk do the same if he had just been relegated? He inherited some good players that played a good passing game & added a few to the team! And twt if monks better then SB! But I know who I'd prefer

 

Let's give Bruce some credit for appointing Phelan as well. I doubt his assistant is a yes-man.

No, my comments at the time were off the back of a **** season and constant mistakes. It's not like I want Jak to be number 1 all the time, it's just I wish people wouldn't slag him off so much and piss and moan about him. It's not like I'm demanding he be in the starting line up from week to week.

If McGregor had persisted with his bad form up until today, I'd have stood by my comments and many would've been asking for a change. As we are, I'm happy for McGregor to remain in goal, he's great. In fact, I never said he was ****, just that he kept ****ing up.

 

Maybe, like me, Sterling is hopeful we'll sign Bentley in January.

If Allam had taken the advice of some on here and sacked Bruce, say after the Blackburn game, this could have been our manager now.

No. What's your point? It's pointless having a level of expectation as as fan because it doesn't make a difference?

That's like saying why bother doing anything for city if it isn't going to make a difference to how city perform? Does me being at the game affect how City perform?

All fans have an expectation, mine just seems to be higher than everybody else's. Frankly I'm struggling to find any ****s to give.
