On the 2nd video on the list, you can clearly see Hamilton going right at 4 seconds into the video. I think it was nothing more but 2 diagonal lines going towards one another. Hamilton could have slowed down or not even let him pass in the first case.

Hamilton was moving to the racing line and I think he saw Pastor late in his mirrors, hence the dart back to the left as he was shocked to see him coming up the inside so quickly after the session had finished. Pastor was just idiot for what he did.

A reprimand and a five place grid drop are moderate penalties, which suggests that the stewards didn't see the incident as very serious, just a bit of heat-of-the-moment stupidity, I think.

It made me laugh the way they were both being so complimentary and emollient about the whole incident when interviewed afterwards: they're 'friends', apparently! Glad to hear it :)

Also. Has anyone here actually raced in a F1 car? I'm sure Brundle and DC always go on about the poor mirrors on F1 cars. I don't think LH expected Pastor to be so close to him after the session had finished. LH did not ruin Maldo's lap because of their little clash on the last corner because that had already been ruined by Heiki's slow ass car.

how many accidents are due to poor rear visability? I think they need to make the wing-mirrors larger and maybe a rear facing camera with a screen inside like my old Audi Q8 had.
