I think ML will be selective when it comes to using three wingers as the tactic is not always the best, it depends on the opposition. As our only option up front, this is the time for Moore to show his best and if he can't manage to get more games under his belt now, then he never will. I can't see us signing Shechter and I don't think he will be used. I suspect he was/is a temporarily solution to give ML some more time to find a decent striker. If Moore continues to be the second(third) choice after Shechter, then I can't see him stay (if gametime is what he wants)... So, my answer to your question is yes...
Ever considered writing legal documents and stuff like that, Musty? You could reduce them all to 10 words or less
Just thinking ahead to next season when we're going to have a new striker (not a big assumption to make) I would put Michu back in the hole for a number of games just so that he gets used to playing there again. So the man up top has to be Moore
I would really like to see Moore get a run of games now that we're safe. He has obvious talent but, as has been stated, he does need to apply himself more. Perhaps his attitude is born out of knowing that he's just a bench player at best right now. You never know what a run of games could do for his confidence. He could blossom and he certainly has the skill levels to play Michu in and he does get the odd goal as well despite his sketchy number of appearances. Look at the transformation in Routledge when he was given an extended chance to show what he could do. I think that Moore could do the same if he was given the chance. We definitely need three strikers with the number of games we will play next season. If Luke grabs his opportunity it could save us millions in the transfer market. It's there for him to take, so let's hope he gets the chance.
Well I will be the yin to you guys yang then. Don't rate Moore too highly, has never scored many goals and doesn't work hard enough. He DOES have a great first touch and technique but then so does Joe Cole... Given the options Itay, Moore or Michu upfront then it has to be Michu. We need to push up the table as this will mean millions more in our transfer kitty next season and sacrificing points by playing a striker who is too goal shy would weaken us next year. The cat is amongst the pigeons!
