Well, looks like a slight majority say, "No" and this article would seem to agree with you - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...m_chance_reflects_national_problems_1_4334651
I feel that we need something just to spark things up and maybe Loza could br the answer - even as a half hour sub
Loza needs to go out on loan either to a championship team or at least a league 1 team that is in the promotion battle. If he can prove him self at that level then he may be worthy of a place in our first team squad. Unfortunately banging a few goals in for the U21's goes no way to proving he's ready for the PL.
Burton appear to be a little short on goals, despite being top of the league. And Remi Matthews is already there, so it saves Neyul visiting another club.
I just think, if a player impresses like that, and still doesn't get a sniff, where is the motivation to him, and his Under 21 team mates to push on and impress. I'm not saying definitely bring him on off the bench. It depends on the game. Id rather have him on the bench than Grabban, coz Loza wants to play for us. If we were winning 2/3-0, then yes, I'd say give him 10-15 minutes premiership run out as a reward and see what he does. If we are losing, or drawing, maybe don't try him out, but at least his reward is training, and being involved in the first team, and first team match warm up. Being involved on the bench. Being in the changing room for team talks. I can't see what the harm would be in that, all I can see is positives all round. I'd definitely have him in the squad. He wont be, because is Laffs does all he's done and doesn't get a sniff, what chance has a youth kid? My opinion though. I'd involve him in the squad.
I think it'd be better for his development to get regular football at a championship team than hanging around with the first team and sitting on the bench until we're 2 or 3 up against a PL team (It might never happen). If anyone deserves a change to replace Jerome, Mbonkani or Grabban it's got to be Lafferty who at least has shown he can score at international level.
...Yes I agree. I didn't say stop all loan offers and start him now! He has earned a reward. Our youth team need to know if they play well and train hard, there is a reward. If he's on the bench for a Premier match, I'm sure more teams would be aware of him, and more chance of teams scouting him and taking him on loan. I didn't say have him on the bench all season. I said reward him with a place in the squad this week.
I'm having enough trouble trying to fit everyone I think should be in the squad for my line up prediction, without adding Loza to the mix, although I see where you're coming from.
