I think Lescott proved against Spain that he is more than capable of doing a job at the back for England.

I said this at the end of Spain game. Wouldn't it be funny if England now go and loose to Sweden!

I think after Saturday's result they could be in danger of under-estimating the Swedes. They may have beaten the World and European champions, but Sweden are certainly no push overs.

Incidently, they are expecting Wembley's lowest gate for an England match tonight as they have only sold 50,000 tickets so far.

Yes, innocent until proven guilty, this is a football match and he is our Captain at the end of the day...bet everyone who's saying no would have a different view if Adkins suddenly decided that Barnard wasn't to play until the outcome of his trial. Okay, slightly different circumstances, but same principal, innocent until proven guilty <ok>

I can't stand the bloke and i don't give 2 hoots about England but for christ sakes it hasn't even been proved that he said anything racial, too many people on here who presume he's guilty,i'm actually one of the people who thinks he didn't and wouldn't say anything like that, perhaps i'm in the minority though.

For several years now I have experienced perverse pleasure when they lose. International and Champions League qualifiers are totally useless...what time is K.O.?

Terry should have never played for England in the first place .....an awful centre back and throw back to those old cloggers in the 70's . He was made to look good in a chelsea team by the others around him like Desailly, Gallas and Carvalho. For England Rio and Sol made him look good. Look at him now struggling at Chelsea lack of pace is now being exposed and his postional play is quite awful cant count the numbers of times I have seen him caught out of position in the last couple of seasons.

However regarding the racist issue innocent until proven guilty too many people in this country jump on the media bandwagon.

No - nothing to do with the racism business, I just don't think he is good enough with youngsters coming through should be given experience in this type of game

    He does nothing but argue!

If he shot someone directly in the head in a room with everyone looking he would still argue his innocence! I hate him!

    I really hate him!

If a decision goes against Chelsea then he goes mental and feels like he has to get involved!!!

    Argghhhhh!

Well the guy was man enough to play, put in a good performance despite the nastiness and led England to a win against Sweden, something that has not happened for a long, long time. It wasn't a great game of football and under 50,000 at Wembley, not good enough, time to move the pointless friendlies around the country so we can all get a chance to watch them, if England is going to be great again there is a need to get the fan base back behind them.
