There are signs that both the club and the player are playing a bit of a game with each other here. It wouldn't surprise me if the Allams have said that from now on we come down heavy on him for every breach of club rules. So he either tows the line or eventually they have enough grounds to sack him without paying out a huge compensation package for unfair dismissal.
On the other hand Bullard could be thinking that if he can cause enough trouble city will either let him go to QPR on a subsidised loan or sack him 'unfairly' which will mean he gets his dream move plus he can hire a smart lawyer to bleed us dry.
I just hope we are in a good position legally before we do anything drastic.

Burnsie has missed a call from Adam Pearson LIVE on his morning show. Gggggrrrrrrrrr

HULL CITY CAN SACK BULLARD. JB has had more warnings both verbal and written than anyone i would suspect. You can be sacked if you breach your contract and anything to do with Gross Misconduct is also a sacking offence.

My guess now is that the 2 weeks suspension from the club along with 2 weeks wages
is for Hull City to get all his misHaps shall we say and place them with the clubs lawyers and legal team. I suspect the next letter JB gets will be his P45 and contract cancelled.

The mood of the nation towards greedy footballers is such that i would expect any judge to Rule in Favour of Hull City as Bullard has got so much going against him and so many people who would back up the club as witnesses if required.

Any club that takes Bullard on now, (QPR) will have to be desperate for sure. But as another poster said, If Coventry can take on Marlon King for what he did then Bullard is sure to get fixed up. There are no morals left in the game either.

JIMMY BULLARD WILL GO DOWN AS ONE OF THE BEST EXAMPLES OF WHY THE PUBLIC
FEEL THE WAY THEY DO TOWARDS OUR GREEDY OVERPAID FOOTBALLERS. <ok>

I too thought pulling an all-nighter was hilarious when I was 20. I'm now into my 30s and manage a team of staff; if any of them turned up pissed to do their jobs I'd do everything I could to throw the book at them. It's not banter, not funny, it's ****ing unprofessional. I don't care what people do at weekends or in their spare time (close season I guess for a footballer) but it your out of work conduct affects your ability to do your job to 100% then you're ****ing out of order and should face disciplinary action.

CORRECT. They are the grounds i would expect Hull City to be going down. hence why sakcing Bullard is very possible.

as for the taxi fare ? knowing it was a London taxi i bet JB would not get much change from £1000. (£10 to you & me)

Well at least you're guessing now rather than purporting your thoughts as fact. I reckon he'll be left on the sidelines, losing the odd two weeks wages where possible until his contract runs out.

It's the fact that there's everything else that has gone on before this. If he'd given enough to the cause over the time he's been here to become a fans favourite then of course you can accept the odd slip up, afterall we're all human. So in my opinion it's not really about the 45k a week he 'earns' but the complete and utter disrespect he constantly shows to every Hull City fan in the world!

Exactly - Deano's always been honest that he likes a pint but he was actually very professional - only doing it when it wouldn't affect him or his team mates. Even when he was in his late 30s he was still regarded as one of the hardest trainers. There's a time and a place for everything, something Bullard clearly doesn't understand.

Why sack him? Wait until he's back from this suspension and when he returns to training find another excuse to suspend him (if not before) for another 2 weeks. With JB's history, with luck we could get through the full year without paying for him and not having him play for anyone else. Alternatively, he might get the hint and leave at Christmas.

Is he suspended without pay? Are the club able to do that? Or I guess that's what the rumoured £90k fine is = two weeks wages.

NP is probably keeping his mouth shut on this one , as he probably has lawyers working on this one and doesnt want to jeopardise anything.

I don't know why City fans in particular get so hung up about "professionalism", yes, it was a stupid thing to do, but who the **** cares if he's doing it on the pitch?

The guy went to Ipswich and won their player of the season, he's got a higher scoring ratio for us than most of our strikers.

At the end of the day, football's just entertainment, I don't care what he's doing off the pitch, the same way I don't care that my favourite musicians and TV stars are all probably on coke.

This is about what he's doing on the pitch, he couldn't train because he was pissed, anyone who thinks it's acceptable is a moron.

I was starting to look forward to seeing Bullard restored to the team and I agree that off-field activities shouldn't count for much. The difference with this is that he can't be stupid enough to do these things now (considering the fragile peace between him and the club) unless he wants to be away. So if he has given up on City I don't relish seeing him in our team.
