Of course it should be part of it . The KC must be used for some events during that year - concerts etc. All the sporting organisations in the city must be involved. The citizens of Hull need a bit of pride and unity through that whole year.

He also gave free tickets to East Riding Council. Not building bridges though, he told someone at an event recently that he would never speak to the council again, wants nothing to do with them. The cynic in me says he gave those tickets away to try and buy a bit of popularity back.
