Should he stay or should he go?

Discussion in 'Arsenal' started by Depay Sound, Jul 2, 2011.

?

Should Fabregas be sold?

  1. Yes, we don't want someone who might not be fully commited to the club.

  2. Yes but only for top value.

  3. No, we should keep him for at least one more season and then let him go

  4. No, we should fight to keep one of our best players

It would still make me think. If they are that keen to sign him then surely they would put in an other Arsenal can't refuse instead of continuing to mouth off through the media.

For Arsenal I think it might be better of he was to leave this summer so that all the speculation and rumours end.

For Fabregas I don't think it would be a great move. Obviously he wants to play for his boyhood club but as you say he probably won't get many games ahead of Xavi and/or Iniesta.

It's a shame that SamirNasriIsOurMessi is the only Arsenal fan who has tried to have a sensible debate on this article while the rest of you have automatically taken it as a wum article and are trying to start a childish arguement.

I wouldn't mind Man Utd signing Modric (or Nasri infact) as we desperately need to strengthen our central midfield.

With Barcelona and Real Madrid the debt doesn't really matter as the Spanish banks will just bail them out - doesn't seem fair on the rest of La Liga but there you go.

I think the way to keep Fabregas happy at Arsenal would be to show real ambition by going out and strengthening the team. I know it's only the 2nd of July and we don't really know what's going on behind the scenes but Arsenal seem very quiet on the transfer front and with them not spending much for several years there is no guarantee they will go out and strengthen (significantly at least) their squad.

Yes SamirNasriIsourMessi, how dare you try and have a sensible and constructive debate. You should instead be partaking in a childish, pathetic attempt at starting an argument.

I'll be honest, I don't have any concrete evidence but we have seen many times before Barcelona and in particular Real Madrid get themselves into huge debt, still spend hundreds of millions but not having to change anything to clear the debt.

It just wouldn't suprise me if Wenger stuck to his "philosophy" and signed more young players with great potential but lacking in experience which would probably lead to another season of "ifs" and "buts" for Arsenal.
