The biggest factor in this is that he is on a Bosman, and as such to keep him, he will have to be given a huge contract again. The likes of Fenerbache etc who have been linked will see a player of maybe €6million value for nowt, and will offer him a salary based on this. He simply isn't worth that to us,despite having been superb last 5 or 6. Absolutely certain is that he is not quick or skilful enough to go RM in Gus style of play.
