I prefer the quick trap door style exit... i do feel a bit sorry for him but not that sorry.

I am ok waiting for the full 'eternal enquiry' but suspect this is just Les & co watching the full video nasty tonight with some popcorn....

He will be gone tomorrow me thinks.

As for the fairness and validity of sting operations, last week i was approached by a stunning woman who suggested she would like to have sex with me later that evening in her hotel room... I arrived at the hotel room bang on time only to be be met by a reporter doing an expose on married men and illicit affairs.

When i returned home i immediately discussed the unfairness of the sting operation with my wife who totally understood how badly i had been set up and she was disgusted with the way i had been misled and treated....

No this never happened and it a maybe a poor analogy but I i feel confident that wouldn't be my wife's response if it did and i don't see why it should be our response now either.

Entrapment isn't very nice but as someone has already pointed out it is quite easily avoided.

When the telegraph are finished trashing corrupt managers lets hope they release footage of some honest managers telling them to stick their dodgy payments up their arse.

Let the club decide, we don't want an unfair dismissal. 5-0 to Fulham should help...<laugh>

JFH is in a big money profession
Anyone on here would naturally grab a chance or consider extra revenue if offered

99% of this board would get stung of an easy set up was made and you were approached

Football is rich and evil but it's not that important it just complements a full life ... If you like football of course

Live football and sky and BT boxes have become a religion to most ... Each to their own but not for me

It's five minutes of news and today's culture will quickly move on and forget ... The higher powers are banking on that ... Until the next story

    Story being the key word

Same thing happened to me but with a doppelgänger except the details and outcome can only be described with different words and different meanings suffice as to say I woke up kissing a mirror

    Quick exit.

I don't think that negotiating tens of thousands of pounds of appearance fee from what might as well be a McDonald's toilet sounds like the actions of a man that has interpreted a clause in his contract that is probably in place for endorsements and punditry in a slightly simple way.

As a club who haven't exactly got a reputation for underpaying, the only way I can begin to believe this innocent yet money grabbing persona is if he yells "Show me the money!" at the lady delivering payslips and turns up at the cash machine at 11:50pm the day before payday and hits the check balance repeatedly until the funds clear.

Seriously, I want to at least naively believe we have decent folk at our club and perhaps one day even be envied by other fans for doing things the right way rather than Pret a Manger tax dodges and conflicts of interest.

More than stability (and God knows I do think we need that) I want a club I can be proud of.

I cannot vote as the option:

'Who cares if JFH is guilty, he is a **** manager, get rid of him' is not on the list.

I'd like an investigation to prove something, as sacking someone on speculation seems unfair. That said, seems he's been both stupid and greedy, and I'd be glad to see the back of him.

Should wait until the board have all the facts & video evidence, innocent until proven guilty, but my opinion it don't look good for Jimmy.

I agree, why have a novice when you can have a full blown crook.
Just let him have a few more days at his villa.

Not sure this is worth its own thread but it seems to me that Jimmy has at least a 50% chance of going. If he does, who next?

    Too early for Ainsworth?
    Olly back?
    Laudrup, currently in Qatar.
    Shteve?

    Interesting web page

I've sometimes wondered if a really good manager / motivator of people might do a half decent job at managing a team? I suppose it was sort of tried with Clive Woodward and Southampton.

Ollie and Neil weren't bad either, but I do agree with the point motivation plays a huge part in squad morale and man management.

What ever we think will happen TF will do the opposite unless this Ruben fellow actually does run the show now. Doesn't seems so to me.

While I voted for summary justice and public humiliation it is quite heartwarming to see how many of us favour some form of due process. I had Nines and Col down as hanging judges at least.
