You are implying that a persons support should be determined by their geographical location, not where they are born and raised.

You claim people outside Liverpool can't be loyal supporters, this implies that people who grew up and moved away from various reasons aren't loyal. By your own admission, you can't be a loyal Saints fan as they are no longer your local team.
I can't believe that such a ****ing ******ed thread has lasted 11 pages!!! The concept is unworkable, the clubs are not going to offer discounts for locals, and they are never going to pay the extra for the staff they would need to manage such a system. They are going to keep putting ticket costs up year on year, and get as much money as they can...End of. Surely we should have a heavy tax on out of town supportersas they contribute towards some carbon footprint thing, then charge them extra as they enter liverpool (checking their passport for validation along with their drivers license).
