In case her identity is the same lads, I'd suggest being careful with regards to naming her outright then <ok>

Of course I'm not suggesting that....
My point is that it was mentioned that Evans had served his time and paid his debt to society - a crime such as rape can never be 'paid' so to speak as the victim will be a victim the rest of their life, and nothing the penal system can dish out makes any difference to them.

OK Stereo, what's the alternative? Short of executing everyone I fail to see what else society can do. It is what it is - commit crime, do time. He's done that so short of going on the dole at more cost to society I'm not sure what people want the guy to do.

In a civilised society we allow convicts to get on with their lives and contribute to society when they get back. Seems to me the lynch mob carrying pitchforks and torches want him to pay for the rest of his life. I say get real.

Why should he "get out of the public domain"? Where is "here"? Nobody is suggesting he comes to Swansea. Isn't he trying to get on with his life?

Why? Should he just hide away from society and never go out? should he put aside his skill as a footballer and learn a new trade? Should he emigrate? All of the above? If so, all of this impacts on his partner too who has committed no crime at all.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion but I think you'll find you're in the minority.

I don't have any morals? wtf? What have politics got to do with anything? In my experience Labour politicians aren't particularly 'moral'. Remember the expenses scandal?

What's moral about depriving someone of their livelihood after they have served their time?

What's moral about punishing his partner too even though she never committed any crime?

What's moral about putting this young man onto the dole at our expense when that money is better spent elsewhere?

What's moral about the 'victim' in this case saying publicly that she was going to 'hit the big time' on social media?

What's moral about her behaviour in the first place?

In short - look at your own values before publicly questioning mine. <ok>

You have no concept of what this lad got caught up in, and you have given no thought whatsoever regarding the girls actions in all this, Rape is only Rape if there is no consent to sexual intercourse, and there is no evidence to prove that she did not give consent, the fact that the Jury gave not guilty to his friend should tell you something regarding this sad affair, and if I had been on the Jury I would have made sure he was found not guilty as well.

The boy had no previous convictions whatsoever and was of good character, the girl wanted to go to the hotel room, and she also wanted the lad not to leave her on her own in the Hotel room, clearly the video footage shows her capable of walking in and out of the hotel entrance unaided twice, so she could not have been that intoxicated if she was able to walk so freely, she wanted sex and got it. She says she can't remember saying yes to Ched Evans, but that does not mean she did not say yes. The fact that she went on twitter bragging about a big pay day to her friends even before the case came to trial, something the police conveniently decided to have ignored tells you all you need to know regarding her, the police and this miscarriage of justice.

Evans has always maintained his innocence and legal representatives for the striker are preparing a submission to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) aimed at quashing his conviction...................<ok>

True I'm no legal expert, but it all comes down to common sense and sound judgement, by the way in my younger days I did study Law and British Constitution as part of my business studies, but still I agree with you, though I've never stated I'm an expert but then do you have to be to see injustice? There are too many flaws in this conviction and I hope he is successful in overturning it.................<ok>
