Welcome back on board FFB. I didn't hear all of the match but was surprised to hear mid first half the comment "i'm surprised Turner hasn't subbed Ainsworth".

If the pitch was so narrow why didn't GT use the formation at Newport and the game after. He dropped ainsworth due to the width.
 
It baffles me that GT did not play Wildig i/o Ainsworth from the start particulary in view of his pre-match comments. He said afterwards that the team played so well v Rotherham no one deserved to be left out against the Shots. Changing a winning team to accomodate different circumstances is, surely, what exceptional management is about.


Look on the bright side. We lost 3-0 there last season and only dropped 2 league points after that.

We've beaten a load of our bogey teams this season, but you always need to have one that remains as a challenge for next season. <laugh>
 
hopefully none of our bogey teams will be with us in L1 next season. i suspect the boro may feel the full force of the shrews on the rebound. bring on round 4
