My FotMob app has City’s xG as 1.22 and Norwich’s as 1.45. We must have accumulated loads of xG in the build up to the second goal, two close range central shots before the third one went in.

We had a few good chances

    tettehs skied volley
Tufans shot in the box blocked by the defender
Coyles cross to estupinan which the defender just got too

i think it was pretty even outside the first 5 minutes

Id argue outside that first 10/15 we were the team in the ascendancy. They only turned it around when they scored that free kick.

We definitely were, until we changed shape to 5 at the back after the second and couldn’t string 2 passes together.

Don’t think Oscar’s first would have scored very highly in the xG algorithm, it was a very difficult one to put past the keeper.

    I'd agree.

Obviously going to a back 5 didn't help but not much we could do. We brought on a kid who was released by FGR, another who we signed from L2 and Cannon who was on loan in the NL last season. Against a team recently in the PL, that's a pretty impossible task.

Remmber the days when people just went home after the game and said about the goals and near misses? And didn’t have discussions about club accounts?

To be fair you can probably remember going down the garden to the bog.

I'm happy to discuss all of those things. And xG. It would be really odd for a City fan to not have an opinion on the club's solvency.

Are we all judging Shota on the recent run of results only? At the end of the day, we should not ignore the key injuries to Allahyar, Tetteh, Tufan (ruined the momentum and fitness), Fleming etc. I think things would have been a lot different and we would be praising the manager.

Also, we have had a tough set of fixtures. We should be aiming for 3 points each game in this next 6. I don’t think the same could be said for the first 10.

    Bristol City 9th W
    Preston 15th D
    Norwich 2nd W
    Burnley 4th D
    West Brom 21st L
    Coventry 24th W
    QPR 6th L
    Sheff Utd 1st L
    Stoke 14th L
    Swansea 16th L

    Next 6

    Luton 11th
    Wigan 12th
    Huddersfield 23rd
    Birmingham 17th
    Blackpool 19th
    Rotherham 8th

Let’s see where we are after Rotherham. We will hopefully have more players back. Nobody should lose their job after 10 games. We’re 4 points off the playoffs ffs!

No, I don’t give a **** about the recent results, it’s the performances that have been lacking, pretty much since after his first game v Swansea.
Even in the early season games we were ****, but luck covered it up.
I’ll tell you where we’ll be after Rotherham if he’s still in charge, bottom, or 2nd bottom if Coventry are still doing ****!
