The issue for me is that we seem to have only been linked with players from the Premier League which is highly inflated. I was hoping we would be looking at shopping in Holland, Belgium, Portugal and France where I am sure you can pick up some real bargains.

If you think back to previous seasons we get linked with all these players and nothing materialises, then we sign some 1 who hasn't been mentioned in the press. News only breaking as the deals are being finalised.
I think this season will be pretty much the same. I think the interest in the man utd 3 & Laarson is real, but once Bruce comes back from his holidays we will make some moves that we don't see coming.

Not likely to get a vidic but they normally have a bit pace & are hard as nails. More importantly nowadays, relatively cheap.

Hopefully someone with Bardsley's attitude but with the skills of Sess would be ideal, doubt he's out there though.
I have been told still to expect insomnia at the SOL in time for pre-season, though not as sure to happen as it was a few weeks ago - probably coz there maybe a sky4 club making enquiries, trying to get the lad on the cheap.
Whilst there is no doubt Larsson can put in a decent cross, and he will have my full support - I am underwhelmed by this signing, as he is slow and a poor mans David Beckham - hope I am proved wrong, but I very rarely am.

You are not wrong there BB - but its still a shame Hendo's potential was not realised at the SOL.
