Spent three hours of hell walking round shops in Glasgow yesterday with my Mrs and two youngest. Absolutely ****ing hell. My daughter only wanted to go in H&M and Primark and my son wanted to go in JD Sports and Sports Direct. We could have literally been in any ****ing town in Britain. Between shops they fought each other. We had to split into Male and female pairs for an hour to get any peace, my son was happy as a pig I **** then walking round the good shops with me. Didn't buy a thing. Didn't even get hold of a pint until gone three for **** sake.
I did see a couple for things I fancied but, like others have already said, would only buy on line after I'd tried. They've got an End. shop. Thought it was only on line. They had more security than shoppers the clothes are so ****ing expensive and 'rare'. There were these **** looking trainers at £280 a pop, Farrell designed yeezy's or something. Crap.
Agreed! It took me 3 attempts and nearly 3 hours on live chat and the phone to sort out my new phone contract ! Could have popped into town and had it all done in one hour ! Online shopping for clothes is a nightmare !
**** sake I popped out at 3:30. just got home after 8 pints. going to try an cook a rib eye. Chips an much peas. Maybe some some stuffed shrooms.
Sounds better than the reality. Weekend breaks shouldn't include children under ten years old! Or even children over that age come to think of it.
I was joking mate, after what you shared about this trip the other week. Kids and city breaks, doesn’t sound a great mix tbh.
Oh yeah, I had mentioned it! Little Mix were great though apparently so was a job well done in that respect. Also, went to an area unwittingly recommended by a GC'er and that was good, very hip places a short walk from where the concert was. Glasgow would be a cracking weekend away without kids in tow, no doubt.
I loathe shopping. I dread to think what my life would've been like without access to the internet (MATRON!) I just bought two pairs of shorts for our upcoming holiday. I paid £1.99 for a return label which I'm not going to use but it was money well spent as I didn't spend money on petrol, lose hours walking around a ****ing shopping centre thing or have to waste half a day watching Mrs Stan browse stuff she was always going to buy online at a later date. ****ING MAN UP LUV!!!!!
