Got my lad a tablet thing for his homework, he does everything but his home work, so i see where you're coming from Fan
we had a couple of lapops initially, but as you say almost everything but homework got done. Now I have a laptop (which they can borrow sometime) and a really top of the range PC which is for the 'family' mrs and me have internet on phone too but I hardly ever use mine I even had to move some of the games consoles down, as it was home from school, quick bite and disappear until bedtime no point having them if you cant get a cup o ftea out of them now and again
I dont mind buying the cheap tackle of them ,especially the bag heads they love robbing the sports shops and debenhams AFTERSHAVE AT A 10ER A BOTTLE
