    Both them have been guilty of missing some great chances but their has been countless times when a midfielder has played the wrong pass to either of them which has seen opportunities missed. I agree with your earlier post that Lover and Best at the moment are our best strike partnership though.
    Roll on the summer when hopefully Ameobi and Lover are just backup.

    And if Lovenkrands was any good Shola would have more goals from his passes, both are very average Premiership strikers but at least Shola has a physical presence, Lovenkrands brings very little at this stage in his career. Shola isn't the best striker in the world but will occasionally pop up with a goal or an assist (thinking of Nolans goal against Wolves where Nolan correctly gambled on Shola winning the header).

    Yes 3 or 4 better strikers would be great, but we don't have them (and I'm not too convinced they're available at sensible prices. Carlton Cole at £10m is a poor mans Shola anyway!), Best is injured, and Shola is the best we've got.
