Seriously you know what is the most frustrating thing about Shola? When he could be scoring despite his shoddy all round game, he can be found wrestling the oppo centre half for no apparant reason. I think he would be more at home in WWE

    In reply to the OP:

Shola was only behind Perch as our best player last night. He won headers, held the ball up, chased down defenders, ran the line, and brilliantly created two real chances for Best. Can't stand this Shola-hate.

Can't have this. He is the laziest man alive. I can not understand anyone who defends him. Look at all the interest in his talent in his time with us. Sums his abilities as a footballer. We need to move on from players of championship ability if we want to progress. He wasn't the only one who was ****e but the difference is this is his normal level. Each to their own but the lad is a handicap to the team for me.

Chase down defenders. ffs anyone of us could do it but the fact is he doesn't take defenders away or get in behind.

    This....

Hes there to score goals aswell as create them. But ultimately to score them. He does not do this.

Some players that are not so technically gifted still make an effort. Players like Kuyt/Keane come to mind. At least they work hard. The thing is if he put in as much effort as we expect we wouldnt be grilling him.

Shola has fooled people into thinking he had a good game because of his previous few matches where he hardly had a touch. But he's not good enough for Newcastle.
If Ba played like Shola did last night we wouldn't say he was one of our best players after Perch. But to be fair, he did have a decent game.

This 100%...I was ****ing irate yesterday, about 3/4 times he had balls whipped in to him and instead of jumping or trying to win it, he was flat footed, pulling the defenders waist!
