What fantastic service he has given us!!!! We all know he should have been shipped out 5/6 years ago, just because certain managers have been fooled by his efforts in a few games does not warrant reward for the rest of his playing career

I think we to distinguish between Shola being loyal to the club and the fact that no other club actually wanted him. Had one of the teams that looked at him over the years actually offered him a contract during those occasions when his status here was uncertain, I am sure he would have gone. Instead he has somehow clung on despite only performing in a couple of games each season.

Somebody at the club seriously needs his bumps tested if he offers him another contract or extends the current one.

See I don't think he would have gone - he was even worse when he went out on loan (think it was Stoke). Also, was it all at some point caretaker managers who have given him the long contracts? Says it all! (I know Bobby liked him, but back then he was a youngster and back up to Shearer who had big ambitions, he just never improved)

Shola must have some dirt on the club or something...............EVERY manager has loved him.

Expect to read in tonight's Chronicle.........." Shola aims for 20 goals this season"...........same old stuff his agent regularly puts out! LOL

I just really hope he finally leaves! and when he does, am taking time off work to get drunk and to celebrate never having to see him play again! yes he is dedicated to newcastle but lets face it, the blokes ****!....championship standard at best....falling over the ball, miskicking the ball out for throw ins, missing sitters, lazy, cant jump....anything else people want to add?

I just dont think he's good enough to be awarded with ANOTHER contract... Hes got to be on decent money too by now? I, for some reason, quite like the guy and wont hate him but i'd love for him to leave and go to some decent championship side where i can truely be KING SHOLA.

He just seems to have one amazing game amongst a sea of **** ones. Finally starts improving and then gets injured.

I hate the idea of it but you know he'll somehow get yet another contract. Whatever we pay him it's too much! They must sit down and think "can we really let him go, what are those derby goals worth" Either that or he gives really good head.
