The referee didn't help Reading tonight at all and made some shocking calls but credit to Arsenal anyway. Unlike United on Sunday they actually had to earn their win rather than it being handed to them on a plate.

When Wenger comes out and calls refs fat and unfit, and then they retire that season or when Wenger criticises a referee and they don't ref another Arsenal game for another 12-14 months and then when they do give favourable decisions their way then maybe I'll take United fans a bit more seriously.

But the above will never happen.

That would have just pissed us off and we'd end up winning 9-5 instead.

I love how ManUre fans try and pass other fans of as delusional whenever this topic is brought up. Deep down they must know something is fishy, either that or they're just really dim.

So tell me United fans, what's it like living in Denial?

Spot on and what I've said previously about all human beings being conditioned for reward and failure.

It also explains why in big games United get decisions which Liverpool/Chelsea/City don't.

I have no doubt that Vidic wouldn't have been sent off for the challenge Kompany made on Nani last season, as much as I have no doubt RVP wouldn't have got a 2nd yellow for what Torres did and Paul Scholes wouldn't have got a straight red for what Jonjo Shelvey did.

It's ingrained in English Football that United MUST win and the media believe they have a divine right to. I don't blame referee's. The only English referee that I have ever thought was corrupt was Graham Poll.

If you referee 2 United games in a row and by sheer coincidence they lose or fail to win both, form shows that you won't win another. Psychology shows that refs will always try and even things out (albeit subconsciously). It's human nature and that of a referee.

I'd freely admit Chelsea get more decisions than most (generally speaking). Far more decisions this season have gone against us than for us as they have with City and Liverpool but that will near enough be balanced out at the end of the season.

To suggest there isn't bias towards United and declare anyone that says there is "paranoid" is myopic because it can be backed up with fact. People would have far more respect for United fans if they just held their hands up and admitted they were lucky on Sunday rather than all this claptrap about a Drogba offside 2/3 years ago and slandering Mikel or Mata over something entirely separate and irrelevant to what happened in the match.

To be fair I know some (but few) United fans that have admitted it and fair play to them. Some (but not many) United fans do have morals and often cringe at the shame Fergie brings on their football club with his comments. It's probably different for me as I've seen us go through 10 different permanent managers whilst I've been a fan of the club but I'd cringe if a Chelsea manager called professional referee fat and unfit

I watched the 7-5 game tonight with a Man U fan anmongst others. Even he thought the ref gave more to Reading tonight and the stat which supports this is 6 bookings to Arsenal players and 2 to Reading. I thought both teams were fairly even on fouls except a few blatant ones by Reading like the penalty we should have had (the one some are saying they should have had would have been harsh as he was stood there with his hands by his side and the ball was kicked at him). How the officials missed a Reading player diving in front of the attacking Arsenal player and palming the ball away is a mystery to me though. Should have been a pen and red card. There was a professional foul by the last defender later on as well which could have been a Reading red card.

Chelsea have an alternative method to ensure unfavoured refs don't oversee their games again. Death threats and allegations which force them into retirement. Chav justice.

But no doubt you support carefully orchestrated campaigns to ruin their careers. Chav logic.

By the way, 10 permanent managers? So that takes you all the way back to who, Gullit? You really went through the rough years didn't you? ****ing Johnny come lately!

Anyone who thinks that the FA, the referees association, the Premier League and Manchester United actually sit down every week to work out ways to engineer results should be registered with the government as unfit to reproduce.

Amazing. Koscielny should have walked last night, twice.

Two Arsenal games in a row where they benefit from and win because of shocking referee decisions yet they still have the gall to claim a United bias.

<laugh> Give us a chance to have our morning cup of tea first.

Ok so bias towards Arsenal eh? Koscielney should have walked and Reading should have had a pen. But I'm assuming that you missed the Arsenal pen where the reading defender handballed it out of Chamakh's way ? And I'm assuming you missed the reckless challenge on Meade that upended him in a cartwheel ? That should have been a straight red.

So 1-1 on pens not given
    and 1-1 reds not shown

I guess that's what you Mancs would call 'It's all evened out in the end' eh ?

When you're a salford glory hunter it's hard to take that the glory you're supporting is being criticised for corruption :)

Maybe we'll be a given an offside goal or a dodgy pen at Old Trafford, or maybe two of Utd players will get sent off in suspect circumstances which will hand us the game when we're on the back foot ?

It would of course only be a case of 'It all evens out in the end'

In this instance it's an endearing nickname for the neanderthal fans of a club with a horrendous history of hooligan and racist elements amongst its fanbase.

Are you a complete ****wit? Every club has been involved wjth hooliganism. Your club don't exactly have glowing history either, or have you forgotten about hillsborough chants and killing blackpool fans?
