    <ok>

I don't give a **** about your opinions. One of the threads was about fellow non606 users, again, I followed the theme of the thread, and the BillySmarts brigade feels like I've done something wrong. Maybe I should just go to threads and find someone who's opinion I don't agree with and call them an idiot...

    Poor taste, very funny :D

Don't you think it's time you two gave your feud a rest? This is the forth thread that I've read in the last couple of days that has bean ruined by you two bickering about Henderson & Bardsley. Yes, it was relevent on the Hendo thread, but on this one and the other two? Come on guys, time to kiss and make up ;)

in my defence, i gave this thread a go, and took umbrage when my mate here deciding to pipe up about hendo, which i thought was totally irrelevant. sorry that it went on so much, but if any other threads have been hijacked, not my fault, the guy followed me round all day on numerous threads dropping my name and having digs at henderson - i didn't do owt and have been posting as normal elsewhere <ok>

also, he got up my nose with his having a go at sunderland fans that live elsewhere and don't get to as many games as locals. being dorset based, i assume, you can understand that??

Also my vote is for Jordan Henderson, I didn't watch him much last season but heard all you lot banging on about him and what a great player he is and my god I have never, ever, ever seen a more overrated player, having said that most of the Sunderland fans on here don't overrate him but the media seem to, and the England call up was bollocks.

Just realised this thread has took a new life since i started it.

Just want to point out that without Jordan Henderson this season we would be below Newcastle and in about 10th/11th place.

It's very true mate, it's the press down south, not us.

There's every chance that the media frenzy has HAMPERED Jordan this season, if anything.

i totally agree that hendo has been over-hyped, largely as a result of our no show at the world cup, and the london media's decision that all our older players were useless and rather than phase them out slowly and gently blood a new generation, we were to get a team like germany's within months, not years. hendo's england cap came too soon, and the game passed him by, as it has done a few times for us this season, played in the center which is not his position. in contrast, jack wilshere is a natural central midfielder, and the difference between them is quite obvious. that doesn't make henderson a waste of a shirt though, just built up to be more than he is just yet.

funny how two of the three on this thread who have a passionate hatred of henderson and disdain for his ability are a self-confessed mag wum, and the latest iteration of big chris.

Jordan will be a great asset when everyone's back and he is shifted back to the right.

He IS lost in centre midfield, but it's not his fault he's being played there.

I just think those who want to get at the lad, should at least reserve judgement till he has a run in his natural position.

He's copping it cos Richardson has started scoring, why does anyone have to cop it?

Let's kill the negativity, despite the 3 losses, the CLUB is flying.

Mate the majority are sound, and positive.

In peoples defence, by the nature of the North East, and the hardships our parents, and many of our posters on here through Thatcher had to deal with, negativity is a bit 'engrained'.

Things will turn and hopefully the club will be a shining symbol of that.

Bit deep for me that mind.

Spot on Brucey, The Richardson haters have been dormant since the Blackpool game and as you sat Hendo now bears the brunt of criticism even though it has been our defence that has let us down in recent games.

I think most Sunderland fans might agree that Hendo has been overhyped but the constant digs made by Do the Asamoah Dance is an example we've seen for years where an individual/small group take against a player and give him stick at every opportunity.

I remember an old codger in the paddock who used to give Jim Baxer abuse non-stop... everyone's entitled to their opinion but finding EVERY OPORTUNITY to abuse a player is irritating and counter productive. Dance - we all know you think Hendo is a crap player who cannot tackle - I won't call you a knob for thinking that but the repeated posts about it certainly make you look knob-like.
