It featured the caste built by Henry de Beaumont in 1099 and passed on to the De Braose family in 1203, a lion rampart and an osprey. The familiar Welsh emblem of the dragon was also there. The crest was simplified in the eighties, heralding a successful period for the club and what was by now the city of Swansea. Cardiff city has the worst re branding ever. It totally wiped out all aspects of the history of cardiff. Tan killed off the real cardiff city club and reformed his own with badge change, Home colours. red seats creeping in...and more to follow... Leeds rebranding consists of name change from Leeds united to leeds united 2007.... Hull fought and won to stop them becoming Hull tigers.... cardiff fans are wimps and dont care about the club.(well most of them) Malaysia town i should not wonder will be tan's next move...

We may not like the colour or badge but his money kept the club alive and gave us time (albeit one season to date) in the Premier League - nothing similar seen since our time in the First Division in the 1960's. Why on earth would anyone want the club to go bust and resurface with another name in the Conference or even lower - apart from you and some other Swans fans to give you more gloating material?
