I think Shelvey is going to be huge for us! He brings so much more to our play and I'm sure that he would have had assurances that he would be a big part of our plans or he wouldn't have signed. I can't believe that we would pay 5 million for a player that would have to sit on the bench and wait for his chance either, so I think we can expect to see a lot of him in a Swans shirt this season
Well, we paid £5m for Ki and he wernt even in the match day squad !! I agree he could be a big player for us and I have gone on record here a few weeks back saying as much but lets not go overboard after just one game! we will end up on the same path as the Liverpool fans , if we expect sheer class for 90mins it aint gonna happen,he still has flaws in his game that wil need to be ironed out. He will not play every game for us because we have other good players in the squad too and Laudrup will pick the right combinations to win each game. If he is playing outstanding and making himself undropable then good for him, im just a little concerned that people are already putting a bit too much pressure on the lad,he has only played 1 proper game
I think leon will struggle for game time this season, Im not sure laudrup rates him the amount of times he has put him on the bench or subbed him last season, we have other choices now and he is coming to the end of his premiership standard playing days now....he will get games but he wont be automatic anymore..
