Think the worry is that most of them don't get given regular first team performances and only get run outs as 'fresh legs' to run the clock down. Might aswell they stay here at the reserves and get to train with top players rather than dropping down a level in training just for the sake of a couple of 15 minutes at the end of games where they might get 1 or 2 touches of the ball in that time and spend the rest of the 15 mins chasing down clearances from the defence.

More about attacking players really but its true for defensive players too.

Think Robbos a lot better player, doesnt make ricks like Flanno did last night, loads more pace and better on the ball too

He never plays 2 LBs, though. Robinson would never be considered there. Johnson, Kelly, Skrtel, Carragher and Flanagan will always play there ahead of Robinson.

I rate Robbo more highly than Flanno. Robbo definately has more pace and just looks classier on the ball.

Future is bright for our defence.

guys are right shelvey needs experience now. I have a big fear over the lad in terms of stamina and drive but if he can prove himself in that area i think he's got a chance to be a prem player.

The lad has gud vision but a dodgy first touch. I'm not convinced by him. I'd send him out on loan for another season
